Today was a great day! I had a large box from the AFA waiting for me when I returned home and in my excitement I snapped some pictures and thought I would share the two newest additions to my MOC/MISB collection with you folks.

The first is the Toys R Us exclusive Senior Ranking Officers set featuring the Crimson Guard. This was my favorite set of the three and so I decided to get is graded. I was really pleased to see that it fetched a 90 with subgrades of B85 W90 and F95!

The second piece is the Target Exclusive Rattler. This is by far my favorite release from the 25th Anniversary line so it was a no brainer to get this toy graded. I plan on displaying it next to my opened and assembled 25th Anniversary Rattler.
It graded an 85 with identical subgrades as the Crimson Guard pack. How AFA determines the overall grade is a bit beyond me. ;)

Finally, as per kurthalsey (http://forums.yojoe.com/member.php?u=7787)'s request I thought I'd take the opportunity to post some pictures of other items in my collection. I am still working on snapping some decent pictures so please bear with me as these pictures are a WIP.

Sweet! Snake Eyes!!! Tomax and Xamot!!! Really nice. I never saw the Cobra set- it looks great. Thanks for sharing and congrats on the 90 grade!

I have never figured out how the 3 subgrades affect the final grade either... I've seen plenty of puzzlers... I've also had AFA 80's with price sticker residue and spider veins, and then AFA 80's that were crease free, unpunched, and clean as a whistle.

What Was The Price To Get The Rattler Graded. I Picked Up A Very Mint One. And Would Like It Graded.

Thanks On Any Input.

It depends on how quickly you would like the toy graded and returned.

Due to the size of the toy it falls under the Custom 3 category for boxed toys.
I opted for the Archival tier which offered the fastest turn around time and set me back $165. If you went for the standard tier it would cost $75 to grade the toy.

Here is a link to the AFA price sheet.

Thanks for the positive comments, everyone. I'll have more pictures soon. :)
