I found this Flickr colection of Christmas catalogs from the 40's on up.
someone a while back asked about what people bought in the fifties for toys, well its all here even a 1966 catalog with you know who in it. I have spent the last hour looking at Micheal jackson care Bears Ewoks Super Powers Transformers He man Mego Sears Arcade VCRs and camcorders walkmans and more...

Wow that's a great find, thanks for sharing - I remember most of the late 70's and early 80's ones.

The older ones are fantastic to look through, I'll be spending a lot of time checking all those out.

I've seen various early catalogs across the web, but those 1940's ones are very neat. Also does anyone know where to see scans of late 80's-early 90's sears or more specifically jcpenny christmas catalogs? The cut off seems to be '88 for scans of christmas catalogs on the web. I'd ike to see some of the catalogs of 90-95.

I like the GI Joe and Masters of the Universe ads. And, it was cool to see that ad for Mattel's MUSCLE figures in the 1986 catalog.

I have gotten allot more catalogs since then, including a bunch in the early-mid 1990s. Just gotta find the time to scan in the pages and add to the page
