Im interested in getting the 25th Backstop and was wondering if sites like Hasbro would be selling it or would my best bet be Ebay?

supposedly the only place to get it is at the convention. so your best bet is ebay

If this year's Canadian con figures are like those from prior years, you probably won't see them....period.

The Canadian con limits their figures to a much smaller production run than Master Collector does....this year it was 100 but in the past it's been only 30  .

With so few of these out there, they tend to end up in the hands of either passionate Canadian collectors who attended the con and won't be selling or really serious US collectors who paid through the nose for them and won't be selling.

I have seen two Snowbanks and three Black Ices sell on EBay through the years, and maybe one Shiver. In each case, the selling price was several hundred dollars. I think the Snowbank that was on last month went for a little over $500.

Never say never, but I will warn you that you're looking at a difficult hunt with a heavy price tag at the end.

damn, well Back Stop is no way worth that much to me so i guess i will have to wait for a custom or a single card release.

Not sure exactly what the price will go up to though.

All the figures from the set including Back Stop are customs, just like years past from the Canadian meet/convention.

Pete, do you really consider them customs? I think they are professionally factory made like any other Hasbro product.

THey are HIGH QUALITY customs. That's been stated officially about them by the con. Hasbro doesn't make them.

Wow, that went up high. I'm thinking this is a case where you would be better served to color match the paint and make them yourselves, or to hire one of the customizers that hang around here to make them for you.
