YoJoe! proudly presents the newly upgraded Street Fighter: The Movie (http://yojoe.com/archive/actfig/streetfighter.shtml) index in the Collectibles Archive (http://yojoe.com/archive/)! While not actually a part of the G.I. Joe line, these Hasbro action figures from 1994 reuse G.I. Joe molds with new parts. This line can be thought of as a "close cousin" to the main G.I. Joe line.

Can you help the archive? We do not yet have all the accessory images we need, and are looking for more filecards and All Geared Up images! Contact us (http://yojoe.com/contact2.shtml) if you can help!

Check the figures out here (http://yojoe.com/archive/actfig/streetfighter.shtml)!

I had always thought that the G.I. Joe and Street Fighter worlds or story lines coming together was like a bussiness deal. It was quick and for convience for both groups. But might not have been the best arrangment, and was doomed some what or had issues to begin with.

In 1993 there were Street Fighter figures that were officially part of the G.I. Joe line. If there would have been some type of story line on how and why G.I. Joe and Street Fighter are comming together could have possiablity help. Hasbro was bringing together two story lines with hardly nothing in common. At least it was not Mortal Kombat and G.I. Joe comming together. But at the time I think Hasbro was struggeling to keep G.I. Joe pollitically correct. Look at some of the previous lines near the end Ninja Force, DEF, Star Birgade, and the super pollitically correct Eco Force. Hasbro was hopeing that Street Fighter might boost the G.I. Joe sales. I think that some of the Street Fighter fans might have been turned away from the figures having weapons. We all know the Street Fighter line did not work with the G.I. Joe line. Since they were only together for a short time. Even though the Street Fighter Movie line was not a part of the G.I. Joe line, it used a large amount of G.I. Joe molds to make the toys. That is why I think that the two lines have a close relation ship because of what they had in common, and the fact that they were once suppose to be together. They also have more in common compaired to other lines like Mortal Kombat.

When the figures were origionally on the market I never bought any of them because I was at that age were I had stopped buying action figures/toys. I hardly paid any attention to the Street Fighter Movie line. I did really like how Guile was a former special forces soldier. As time passed and I discovered YOJOE.com I found out about the Street Fighter Movie Line. I really like how the artic version of Guile used parts from below the head of Blizzard. Since then I have picked up my favorite Street Fighter Figures and every version of Guile, along with the Street Figher versions of the V.A.M.P. and Dragonfly both of which no longer have the U.N. flag and will eventually have U.S. flags on them.

I am glad to see that YOJOE! has revamped the Street Fighter Movie section.

Thanks for the SF Movie section. I used it quite a bit while building my collection over the past year. Thanks for the Mortal Kombat section too.
