So the local eye surgeon's group is having contest where one person will win free LASIK. I need your votes to help me win. PLEASE! Here is the link:

http://www.eyesurgeonspc.com/eye-contest/

My essay is the one titled: "Ready for 20/20 for 1st Time Since 3rd Grade" on the left side of the screen

Click the button next to it, and hit VOTE at the bottom of the page. That's it!

You rock! Thanks!

amazing number of entries, I glanced at all the first sentences and noticed a pattern or patterns of sorts. isnt it funny how people didnt say they worked in fast food but if they were a firefighter or emt or nurse or a single parent they were sure to mention that.
I personally like the one from the optician...so sick of glasses that he thought maybe if he didnt have them himself his day would go better. In fact a lot of the participants seemed to think that their lives would change significantly if they go the surgery didnt they.
Amazing how we seek change but then when it comes we dont like it.
I want lasik as much as the next person. In fact I always said if I won the lotto I would probably do it. The funny thing is its considered cosmetic surgery. which basically is telling people that sure it eliminates a problem but its not a serious one, and it can be solved by glasses or contacts. Well those things dont solve the problem now do they? take away those tools and the problem is definitely still there. Hearing aids help you hear, well if there was a surgery that fixed hearing completely, shouldnt insurance cover that? or would the surgeon say that since it could be fixed with hearing aids, the surgery wasnt necessary and to live with it?

ok rant over

Lasik is a cure not a temporary fix.

(i voted for you no worries and good luck)

Lasik is a cure not a temporary fix.\

Tell that to the people who, like my sis-in-law, have had their eyes reverse after 10 years. Lasik is not permanent for every one.

Good luck, just voted. Do you get to climb the board, because you're close to the top?

I'd like to believe that Mike, but I think it's just because I was one of the last to enter.
