I think I can finally post here. I have over 20 MOC figures from 7 countries now, and am actively pursuing instead of just taking in trade when necessary.

Anyone know if you can 'undent' bubbles, like popping out car dents?

Tips appreciated!

Hmm, interesting idea. If you could pop the dent, I'm sure it would still leave behind the white stress lines in the plastic.

Use caution, as you can make the bubble worse if you heat it too much.

I have read this as well. It's called something like plastic memory (or something.) It's where plastic restores itself to the shape that it was originally molded in.
