Hi

Anybody know what a sealed Toxolab is worth?

Is it worth sending to AFA? What kind of value would I see if I sent it to AFA?

Is a MISB toxo lab rare?

I'm thinking 75ish range, but I could be off a little. I wouldn't say its rare, but they come up on ebay about once a month or so.

I wouldn't send it to AFA, unless YOU are wanting an AFA graded Toxo-lab. The items I have MISB I'm perfectly happy with - I don't need to pay someone else to tell me how nice it is.

I don't think it's worth a ton either, but it has been popping insane prices on EBay lately. I seem to recall one selling for something like $700 . But then, it was also relisted twice that I know of, so there you have it.....

I think Steve's $75 quote is pretty fair. If you decide to sell, let me know - I may be interested in picking one up as this is a piece I don't have at all in my collection.

Is a MISB toxo lab rare?If you are going to sell it, you could make more money if it's AFA'd. There are currently none graded, so you would have the only one.

If you are going to keep it, it would make a nice display if AFA'd.

I've seen them sell incomplete on Ebay for $56+ WHEN they are actually on there. As far as a MISB, holy poop, yeah I'd say you could get $150 easy. So AFA graded?! And the ONLY one... what are you waiting for!

P.S. - I had one when I was younger and I kept it until 2003, could really kick myself for letting it go....

I've had success selling them in the past. They are pretty hard finds from what I've experinced. An AFA graded one would like they said command some dough. It's one of those later sets that everyone seems to be wanting.

Here's a prime example of one that sold on Ebay, opened, without a box or blue prints:

GI Joe Cobra TOXO-LAB Complete TOXO LAB | eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/GI-Joe-Cobra-TOXO-LAB-Complete-TOXO-LAB-/270723459297?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f086028e1)

If you can't see it, it sold for $255.00

Uhm... If ANYONE has a MISB Toxo-Lab for $75.00, I'll buy 100 of them. Sorry folks, but $75.00 even for a MLC Toxo-Lab is a STEAL. The piece is impossible to find complete--particularly with the sealed baking soda tablets. No one cared about it in the 90's, and it's one of the few G.I. Joe PLAYSETS.

that seems almost insane, I liked this playset enough to put one together from a few lots a while back, but i would never think someone would pay 255 for one. 55-75 sure, wow, i can't believe i am saying this, but joes are getting too rich for my blood. it was just carded stuff, but now loose stuff is getting that way too.:(

I have a couple of these that I have completed through the years. I had thought about selling them, thinking I could just find them again later on, but at those prices I'll just hang on to them=)

Man, I sold mine to Ducksausage here for...$40, I think, sometime last year. Did you find a box for it, or did you find another one MISB? Ever find stickers for it? I don't really miss it, but it was really cool :)

That's right I did get it from robo. No, no stickers...yet,lol. I did find another one also, off evilbay. It was one of auctions that nobody paid attention to and I was lucky enough to get it for about the same price + shipping. My kids and I love these along with the Monstro vipers and such. I really had no idea these were going for so much, though. I couldn't imagine having a MISB sample=)
