I came across these B.A.T.s the other day and I wanted to find info about them. I looked through the archive but I couldn't find it. Also of note; There is a hand written "H" and a "M" on bottom of their right foot, don't know if this is something the previous owner did.

They are identical the V.5 except the color of the eyes and the canisters.

If they are customs they look really good to me. The paint is pretty resilient (I just tried to scrap off the red paint with an X-Acto knife) and the red color is identical on all 3 BATS

Yeah, those red highlights are throwing me off.... They look good, though.

What you have there are probably prototypes or vendor samples. Most protos have "HM" written on them, which stands for "Hasbro Master." Very nice find, those are pretty awesome! I gotta admit that though I never really cared much for the new sculpt figures, there was always a soft spot I had for that particular B.A.T.. The only thing that put me off to them was that neon green that clashed with the figures red cobra logo and blueish silver body. If Hasbro would have released the final figure with red on it like those samples, I would have army built them for sure. Now Im contemplating getting a few of them for some slight custom action.

Interesting, is there a way confirm that these are genuine "Hasbro Masters?"

Could there be any potential value in these?

You could probably find out more about them over on Joe Declassified, those guys specialize in unreleased and preproduction stuff.
