I will probably not retype the whole story suffice to say that he's taken my money ($88.05), not sent me my ebay items (4 CGs) and does not answer any emails. He didn't even bother to defend himself in the original thread.

If you want the full story, email me, i will gladly provide every last bit of documentary evidence.

timmer, it would be very hard for him to sue!!! otherwards, the burden of proof would rest with him? internet sites are very hard to sue that is one of the reasons you have so many porn sites...??? u.s. courts hate dealing with cyberspace???

Well if he's complaining and not bothering to defend himself, that says to me he's guilty. This is what the BAD TRADERS section is for, so I'll repost that I was also screwed. I did a same time trade with him a few months back and sent him some Brazil mission weapons in return for a "mint fang rollcage" (his words), and received a rollcage that had been broken and reglued. I trusted him because we had traded before with no problems, and he took advantage of that fact and screwed me. Apparently he is doing it more and more now that he's discovered it can be easy money. Everyone who posted their complaints originally should repost them now that Timmer is backing this thread. Avoid him at all costs, he's gone over to the dark side.

Timmer is talking about Roach.

I deleted the previous thread, and not because Roach asked me to (even though he did). I probably should have deleted only a few posts from it. I was hoping to get Strato Trooper to repost, and I'm glad he did before I contacted him. I deleted it because of the increasing references to violence and bodily harm, irregardless of who the target was.

John, I understand your concerns so I’ll steer clear of controversial ground and stick to the facts. I do intend for this thread to be preserved for all posterity in the Bad Traders section. I’m sorry if Clint will bother you and the other mods about this in the future, but if I stick to the facts I’m sure there would be no ground for him to complain.

As my above post might not be sufficient to dissuade even the moderately determined ebay bidder/trader (after all what’s 2 bad feedbacks to 200 good ones) I’m setting out what happened to me in chronology so nobody can say that what happened to me was due to postal service/accident.

2 Nov 2002: Won Cobra Crimson Guard lot of 4 MINT complete - Item # 1781824257 on EBAY (I’ve stored the details and pics even so that when ebay dumps its cache, I’ll still have proof)

8 Nov 2002: Sent postal money order of $88.05 to his home address.

19 Dec 2002: Sayss hes “pretty sure they’ve been mailed” wait till after holiday season he says. Naively I do.

10 Jan 2003: Swears he sent it out on 23 December 2002 (strange that on 19 Dec he said abt the same thing). [ANOTHER SIGN I WAS BEING CHEATED, I should have called his bluff then]

26 Jan 2003: Gives me a choice of either he refund my money or he resend the figures (strange considering he should have sent it 2 months previously).

26 Jan 2003: His Roach316 persona offers for sale some figures on yojoe.com, I contact him (not knowing he’s the same person, I do state in my email I am interested in Crimson Guards and my home address, details which shld have alerted him to the fact I could have bid on his auc)

28 Jan 2003: His persona Roach316 offers me 4 Crimson Guards and asked for a M.O. luckily I decline to transact.

4 Feb 2003: Sent email promising paypal refund in 24-48 Hrs. Typed in fake ebay auction ID no. in the title hoping I would be misled into thinking all records of the transaction were erased and not be able to enter negative feedback. Nice try Clint, luckily I have records.

12 Feb 2003: Offering complete Crimson Guards ( “CG” for short) on ebay, HMM wonder where those CGs I paid for went…

I complained on yojoe.com and he didn’t even bother to defend himself. All he did was complain to the mods that he was being ‘threatened’, so obviously he read the posts and couldn’t dispute them.

Naturally, I’ve had none of my 12 emails to him answered. My 3 requests for paypal refund have been ignored.

In summary, if dealing with Clint Randolph ( Talldaddy911 on ebay), do make sure you claim fraud protection from ebay 60 days before the end-date of the auction (regardless of whatever excuses he gives you, its Your money at risk), or you’re probably gonna get burnt. He’s sole purpose is to drag it out past the 90 day ebay period so that no records of the transaction will exist online (except for any you have stored.)

Just to add my two cents, this Clint Randolph guy screwed me too! It was a while ago, this past summer. I put up a post wanting to trade a complete 86 Viper for a complete Cobra or officer. He responded, said he had one to trade. I sent my Viper off in the mail one day and I may as well have flushed him down the crapper! Never saw him again, never got the Cobra I was promised! I e mailed him once after a while and he said it didn't come. ALL the other e mails I sent went unanswered! Like I said, it was a while ago and I couldn't really prove it DIDN't get lost or something.....I should have put up some bad feedback for this little ****** earlier, maybe stop SOMEONE from getting screwed.

Same as the above. Went for a small trade. Sent my part and never got his. Every time I try to contact him he says that he never got my stuff and he was gonna send his in 'goodwill'. Now that I'm reading all this crap about him, I know that he's probably got my parts. Such a small trade, so sad...

it sure is funny how no ones items that has been sent to him has not arrived. there is no way in heck that many packages could get lost by the post office. i guess we all can see that he has stole all of ya'lls items an ran to evilbay.

Just wanted to put my two cents worth in...
he got me quite a few times about a year ago...he always sent the stuff...but when i got it...it was crap...torn Serpentor capes, broken Gung Ho gun...dirty busted up Hydrofoil...painted firefly backpack panel...broken Stinger missiles...Shipwreck parrot with glued feet...the list goes on...and each time i had to send him a TON of stuff...finally i just got fed up...
guys like this really give the hobby a bad name...glad to see i'm not the only one upset...

i got hit too by him. i sent a firebat, cobra bunker and a bag of body parts to him last month and no email from him at all. i was suppost to get a mamba, slam, and a red hiss complete. well i learned my lession now i ask for referrences.

I really is a shame to see that CLint has reduced himself to this level. I don't know him personally, but I had many excellent trades with him last year, and always got good stuff. We shipped at the same time too, I didn't wait for his end to show up first. I guess this just goes to show that you can't really trust anyone, that any good trader could wake up one morning and decide to use their good rep to rip people off. It's sad, really.

Is this the same guy that used to send Joe items in regular letter envelopes? If so, he mail me a Sprit back that way. What an idiot to think it would survive the trip.

Now that I see how many people he ripped off! Was he just waiting for a big score?? I was just wondering about that since he has LOTS of good trader/seller posts. :confused:

I knew the name looked familiar, his email is toyfactor@yahoo and he has that name here too. He wanted all the hydrovipers and Seaslugs I could get him. He even wanted any that were faded and crappy as long as they were not broken. My guess is that the reason is he was trying to sell them to others. I gave him some really good ones but he also got some badly faded ones for real cheap so beware!
