So when we had our latest baby I had to turn my toy room into my son's new room. When we asked him what type of room he wanted he said a Batman room. Well the Batman: The Brave and the Bold stuff had been clearanced out sometime last year. Needless to say it was not super easy to find bedding and such. So what do you think?

Absolutely phenomenal. Is the city silloutte paint or some kind of applique?

I could swear that when I was in 5th grade (when the Tim Burton Batman came out) I got a t-shirt with the exact same image that is on the poster to the left of the bookcase.

The Batman is an applique but I painted the buildings.

The that poster and the one to the left of it are both puzzles that I framed. The one you are talking about is from around the 1989, so it could have been used for a t-shirt.

Bears fan! 'Nuff said!

Love the Batman theme! Mine is two years old and we are doing a Cars / Lightning McQueen / Hot Wheels room in the next week or two. When mine is five we will switch over to Star Wars.

Man, his bedroom is nicer than mine.

The monochrome skyline is total WIN.

Yeah, I want this bedroom right now!

Those building are awesome! Did you mask it out, or just freehand? They really look cool!

The Fathead stickers are also neat, but I didn't know they were that expensive too. At least you can take them down and reposition them without leaving marks on the walls.

Way cool, great looking bedroom. Your son is going to be the coolest kid when his friends see this!

What a great dad!

edit - Just realized I actually have that Batman head trick or treat bucket! Found it in a thrift store on our honeymoon, for real!

I used masking take to get the basic shape then had to cut it in free hand to clean up the bleed through. The sticker (and the idea for the background) came from Pottery Barn Kids. It was only $52, which is expensive but Fatheads are like $80

We actually got him a pair of Cars 2 sheets as a back up set this evening.
