Anyone ever seen a piece with a fairly high, but not outrageous, BIN and put in a bid thinking you could get it for less, and then have it go for more than the BIN? I feel like an idiot right now for doing exactly that:

BIN was $80. D'OH! :( tongue.gif

I recently did something similar.

I was going to use BIN, but only if I won another item from the same seller (to save on shipping). I won the item, but someone else used BIN on the other item 15 minutes before

I ended up getting the BIN item for $8 more

I've had 3 of my own BIN's go for more than what I had. (SO happy about that)! But I hate people who bid and ruin the reasonable (or just over so) BIN's. BTW Amullin's are you bluesnaggletooth316 ? If not is he here? I just wanted to thank him again for helping me out when I had lost my job 2 years ago.

Nope, I'm not bluesnaggletooth316, but he is here. And good luck to him on the auction :D

Look's like he won it. Good deal, he is a good person.

it happens to me occasionally. I usually look for buy it nows because you don't have to wait for the auction to end.
