I hope they are for the con the set is missin zartan and leads me to believe it is for the con

that is lazy, they should have changed zartans body from hawks if even just a little and man zartans head sucks

I like the first Gen. Hawk figure best.
So I think this one is just so-so.

But if that Zartan comes with some kind of mask and hat to make him look like hawk that would be neat.

what i did like about this fig is that zartan is head swaped. i did this with agent faces and cobra claws commander. because of the twins mask (check out my customs at my site)this is what i thought spytroops should have been.

I never liked the original tomahawk mold, and now it has funny stripes and a bald zartan head. Blech.

I guess it'll help me save money, because I'm not motivated to buy any of these figures at all. Mutt is kinda cool, and maybe two of the dreadnoks (roadpig is merely acceptable, hardly anything different about him). No way I would pay for the set though, or anything else I've seen from the convention so far.

Hardtop is the selling point of the whole '04 con package. I find myself actually contemplating getting the set now? But then again $250 for figures is a little out of my range. Here's hoping Hasbro has enough sense to mass produce repaints, although that's highly improbable. Oh well.

Yeah I've seen the newest additions to the con set. I really want to see what Zartan comes before I can judge.

Hardtop as a selling point? Really, really look at him. His mold was never all that great to begin with either, and with the tiger force colors/pattern on him he looks ridiculous. $250 dollars is a whole lot of money for a bunch of subpar figures. Just buy the original hardtop on ebay and nevermind the fact he doesn't have a mic.

I really hope next year's convention has better stuff (and that it's on the west coast). I am interested in seeing what this year's vehicles are going to be though, so there's still hope.

i think I might just swing by just to see what the exclusive vehicles are. if they are any good i might get them

That must be some of the extras they are selling at the show - like the Firefly two pack from last year.

This is underwhelming. Having seen this, I don't care what other "surprise" vehicles and figures there are at the convention, none of this crap is worth the $$$ to me. Of course, it also doesn't help that I'm getting ready for a move.
