I see this stuff a lot at toy shows and comic shops. A popular figure, little to no accessories, sometimes missing the cobra symbol entirely, for $50 or more. Whats funny is, in dallas, they have only 1 toy show, the sci-fi expo, every 3 months. There is always this one guy selling ultra-expensive joes, and he always has the exact same ones! He never sells them! Thats the hobby, I guess...

I went to my comic store the other day. I've seen that price list, not sure which one it was. BUt it list them high. Dusty v1 $20 loose. MOC - $150, I was asking for thorn on here, so I could send the one I have and that one together. For the life of me and the owner we could not find it (they had it listed in '85 for some reason.) Look at other figures and was blown away. Heck if I could sell mine for 1/2 the list with no acc's I would be a rich man very quickly. Cobra Officer was $80-100 or so loose and $400-500 MOC.

Same here, only the common show every 3 months is the one that DeSimone does in Burbank. He ALWAYS has the same 3 3/4 stuff, because his stuff is so overpriced. When I go in, I've recently started to skip his booth altogether.

Let me guess...
A box of 3 3/4" shipwrecks, Orange Navy guy from the key chain series & a couple of torpedos?

That's what he had at the show in Chicago, I personally like the guy, but his stuff is a little over priced smile.gif
