View Full Version : Man I feel buyer's guilt about this...

I just bought this over e-bay, but I wonder if I should of. I just finished a trade and an auction over the past two days that completed my old Terror Drome, and even left me with some extra parts. Then I saw this with buy it now on ebay and I impulse bought it: MEWN%3AIT&rd=1 (

I am hurting for money and I feel like crap. I think it was a good deal, even though it looks to be missing all the bottom doors and the firebat/pilot, plus the two parapet things that hold the big guns, and the guns themselves. Oh well, I think I am swearing off ebay for awhile.

Damn...I wish I'd seen that ;)

I always do multiple searches when looking for things, because I know people misspell things a lot on Ebay. I did a search for Terror 'Dome' instead of Drome and I found it. I think I am going to half-heartedly try to complete it (and I just got through the painstaking process of completing my old one) and then figure out what to do from there. I barely have room for 1 terror drome, so no way I can keep it.

It looks pretty white, I might be interested in it. But the shipping from Ca would probably kill it for me.

Dude, don't regret it! You know what you GOT now??? Get some extra doors for it & stack your good Drome on top of it.

Get it? A TWO-STORY Terrordrome!!!

It's super-sweetness, I envy you now!

Thanks for making me feel better! <sarcasm off> :(

Hehe, maybe I'll follow Obiwan's advice. Double decker terror drome would be hilarious. Or maybe I can call the queer eye for the clandestine paramilitary terrorist organization and see if they can spruce things up a bit :P

Hey, don't be hard on yourself. We all have this "impulse" every now and then. And I guess it will be a easy sell if you decide to let it go!

Nah just get a tactical battle platform between the two as a walkway or something...maybe more of an "or something"

I was looking at the same thing, but just couldn't do it. Not for the price and shipping for something so incomplete. But, the Firebat doors do look good.

I have a full set of bottom doors (albiet with the tabs broken) and an extra cannon just lying around, plus some extra parts for the terror drome, so I wouldn't need all that many parts. I will probably end up selling it for very near complete for a little more than I bought it for. It's fun restoring/completing anyhow. Now how to explain to my girlfriend why 2 of the things are clogging up my living space.

if anyone has an extra top to one of these - let me know - dont need all the chairs or computers and stuff, just the top for an underground cobra diorama/base i want to make

Don't feel too bad, I bought the worst terror drome ever for like $45, then pad another $45 for shipping from New York to Chicago. It was my first e-bay purchase & I didn't know any better. Then I got the stupid thing & it sucked! Missing so much stuff, I tried to give it to Kevin Watts at a toy show for free and he said NO, lol.
