whats the most money u ever spent on a loose figure?

I KNOW THIS AINT MUCH to most of you massive army builders & eccentric collectors out there, but I usually just spend $10-$20 for a figure.

BUT I forked out $40+ for a single 2003 Convention AirViper/Vapor figure. Next would have to be $30+ for a cancelled 2004 Walmart Exclusive Alley Viper... AGAIN this is 4x more than how much I would typically spend so to me this is a lot. tongue.gif

$8 for my loose complete v2 General Hawk (for some odd reason I LOVE that figure). all my other figures I've payed between $2-$4 each (helps that I but MINT incomplete figures)

I spent $25 on my crimson strike team Baroness and I spent about the same on a prototype/ testshot cobra officer. That one has a different head (no helmet).

So far the most I've spent on a Joe is about $10. The most I've ever spent on a figure though was a Star Wars figure: Yak Face. $104 shipped.

I spent about $40 for the Brazilian tiger force Shipwreck. I dont usually spend too much on individual figures.

I think I spent $10-15 on that BTR hovercraft thing for the new blowtorch figure :P

I took the thing once I built it and put it out into the garage. Looks cool but doesn't fit in with the other stuff.

Probably Gatilho (Python Patrol Airborne) or Relampago (Python Patrol Ripcord) from Brazil. About $70 each

Actually, I kind of bought (2) cobra de acos. Those would be the most I've spent on figures, except it was a trade refund from an on-line dealer, so I didn't really buy them. But those are my most valuable figures :D

I dropped $50 on Zartan but he was complete with skier. Does that count as one figure? I guess that next were Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander v1 both complete which I think I paid $24 each for (this was before I really got into ebay and those figures just went for more a couple of years ago from what I've seen. I have sold all of those figures out of lots since then for less than what I paid to get the originals in my collection.

Wow I've just released I've never purchased a loose Joe. I almost got a loose Lifeline at the last action figure show but then didn't.

$40 for a complete, dead-mint loose Night Force Lightfoot with crisp uncut Filecard.

And it was worth every cent.

$9 for a dead mint v1 Shockwave. past that im really cheap when it comes to my figs. i usually try to buy in bulk and trade off the ones im not interested in

$12.50 for a dead mint v1 Cobra Commander (swivel-arm). I had wanted one since I was a kid, and decided it was worth it. Usually I keep it to $7 max.

$66 for two 1989 Night Force Shockwaves, one of them with uzi and pistol(trigger broken), the other with backpack, uzi, and pistol.

I don't think I've ever spent more than $8 on a single figure before, but then again I typically buy collections of 100+ figures so all the good ones I get for an average price of only a few bucks each.

I spent $83 on a flawless Starduster (Ver. C) complete w/ sealed Pocket Patrol pack. Kinda on the expensive side, but one of the figures I just had to have since he was a favorite of mine as a kid.

I also spent $15 to get a complete set of Starduster mini-comics.

$ 40 for a v1 Storm Shadow complete w/filecard. It is as white as can be and worth every penny. I figure I will be spending the same amount or more on a v1 Firefly soon.

I spent about fifteen bucks for CG. I also blew 45 bucks on the Firefly convention pack so that would probably be the most I've ever spent for a figure if if you break it down.

Spent $40.00 on Red Laser the U/K version of Cobra commander V1. Just had to have him in my collection. Most figures I spend around $2-$5. I buy them in lots on ebay and trade or sell off the extras or give them to my son. He has his own box. Keeps him out of my collection!

I've spend around 60-70 on a bunch of figures. Stardust MIB, Starduster loose, TF Sneak Peek, and my Firefly. I know the Firefly was overpriced but I just started collecting and didn't know the going rate. He turned out to be dead mint so I don't mind. Firefly is the coolest man! :cool:

$33 on a complete v1 Stormshadow. Very white, complete with accessories and filecard. $30 for a complete minty mint v1 swivel arm CC w/o filecard. $25 for a v1 B.A.T. complete w/o filecard. Those are the most monies I've ever spent for loose figures.

$40 on a c-10 mint complete 85 snake eyes. Next would be $20 - $35 range for all of night force before some of them started reaching the $50 - $60 range (shockwave)

$7 (twice): my mint Hardtop with mic and my mint complete v1 Payload

the firefly 2 pack at the convention. I almost didnt get it but figured what the hey its firefly!

$39.00 for mint, complete, snow white Storm Shadow; $28.00 for a mint, complete 85 Snake Eyes and $34.00 for a mint complete Firefly. Was willing to pay $55 for a UK Tiger Force Outback and $65 for UK Tiger Force Tunnerl Rat, but the deals fell through.

20.00 for my only crimson viper

11 bucks, it was for the big pimp "fridge" still sealed in package. rip off, yes it was. but it's still the fridge.

ok so im not feeling so bad for some of the prices im paying on ebay..ex i paid 90 for a uk blizzard and 90 for a sealed starduster.are there more expensive figures than that besides mortal and aco?

I got the fuschia stike team for 200 dollars so I guess about 20 bucks would be my max on any one figure. I bought v2 snake eyes mint condition for 21 dollars once. He had all his gear....I felt it was worth it....and he has never seen a battle!

The most I ever payed for a loose figure was $35 shipped for a complete V1 Steel Brigade.

I spent $25 on Hardtop. Besides that, I've never spent more than $15 on just a loose figure.

On the other side, the least I've paid for loose figs (besides gifts) was $1 total for Armadillo and Stinger Driver, both in excellent condition, back in 1990.

I've seen a Steel Brigade ver E go for $150+ on eBay...
A convention undercover Jinx should go over $500+...
Am sure a Pimp Daddy Destro will go for more than $1000...

thats what i love about collecting joes, there accessable! most are cheap and you can get what you want for what yer willing to pay!
