During Vietnam army had several small men whose jobs were to get in the Vietnamese holes and take care of things down there. For awhile I thought that was Tunnel Rat's job because of his name and because he is a demo. expert. But now I don't think he is. Is he?

That's what I always thought he was supposed to specialize in.

Me too, except I never understood why he carried that honkin' big machinegun with a scope and that massive backpack, or why he wore cowboy boots.

For such a great figure, his accesories were completely absurd (except for those great little flashlights).

he's an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) specialist. His job is to render safe ordnance left on the battlefield that can't simply be "blown up" ranging from firecrackers to nukes. He's also trained to use special explosive driven tools and techniques render safe improvised explosive devices (IEDs) placed by enemy forces that hamper operations. Sorta like the roadside bomb thing in Iraq. In all, it's his job to break things and blow s%!t up. Notice the EOD in my username???

Yes, I see that it says EOD but the whole last section in the filecard and his name is why it lead me to believe he was also a 'tunnel rat' making that gun and backpack a little hard to carry down there.

So then Hasbro should make a tunnel specialist. Any ideas?
