I like it! But what makes this "Tiger Force?" It does have the pattern on his shirt only. But they arn't the butt ugly Tiger Force colors. It's dark green and black which look to me like somewhat realistic camo.

Looks like a stiff doof,dont like it.

They should not have used the Cobra officers' legs.

Only problem: I think we've seen enough of Firefly's mold by now. That's his torso, arms, and waistpiece. I'd much rather see the torso of Airborne, Zap, Recondo, or Scrap-Iron.

There is no parachute drop figure this year because there is no parachute drop. The hotel wouldn't allow it is what I heard. I can understand why. The figures could float into the monorail tracks if it was done indoors. The building is pyramid shaped so dropping them from the roof would end up with them flying into the side of the building.

The real question is. . .

"What will the filecard say?????"

Whenever/however this figure is released, the filecard will determine one of the following (if it's called "Steel Brigade"):

(1.) That SB is a "name-your-own" Joe individual. Unique from the other Joes and SB figures.

(2.) That SB is one of a larger army of "greenshirt" clone GIJoes.

If #2 becomes a reality, then the GIJoe ARAH continuity as we knew it (i.e. pre-Devil's Due) will be competely broken. It will no longer be an anti-terrorist strike force staffed by elite specialist individuals (as GIJoe ARAH started out).

But it will become something akin to a fifth branch of the US Armed Forces (or it's replacement altogether) with many-many faceless members of this bizarre new "Army".

And the GIJoe name (as a code-name for America's highly trained special mission force) would become nothing more than a marketing logo, as there would be no tie-in to any continuity for the name at that point.

Maybe they should just make it a 6 pack? With individual filecards for each Steel Brigade Trooper and such. That way they don't ruin the idea of G.I.Joe being a special mission force? With a 6 pack people those that want to make it a armybuilder can and those that don't can just get the one pack.

A New Steel Brigade Trooper? Man i just hope so. And yes the Steel Brigade Troopers are a Special group that do jobs that the regular G.I.Joe team doesn't have the time to handle...

I hope this one is going to be made. It's about time Hasbro made us a New Steel Brigade Trooper figure.

I just hope they don't give it any code names or ranks or file names... So we can name it ourself as we always did. Except this time maybe we don't get a file card as we used to. But that is fine with me.

I can always use a New Captain-DC Steel Brigade Trooper and it's about time. 1994 was the last time Hasbro produced any Steel Brigade figures and it's long overdue...
