Just got my hands on one of these and I have to say that it's an awesome looking vehicle. The Slip Stream pilot figure is cool and the jet has very good detailing. Nice job Hasbro.

The box on this one has seen better days but this is a toy that should definitely be removed from it's cardboard prison. It's just too cool to be left in the package.

Did you pick this up at the store or off Ebay? Should we start looking out for these now because I can't wait for this jet.

I have an account with Hasbro and just received three cases of these today. They're packed two per case. To be honest I'm shocked that I received these so soon since I placed the order less than two weeks ago.

I'm assuming that since I just received the cases the Thunderwing should be shipping to anyone that's placed orders for them. As for the ones I have, I will be keeping two for myself and the other four will be sold on ebay, two of which are listed right now.

Sorry, had to remove the images because they are too big, throws off the screen for those on the lower resolutions.

That being said...

Drooooooool....

Can't wait to get a hold of one of those! Do you accept body parts or organs as payment? smile.gif

Hey Jeff,

Sorry about the pic size, I just wanted to be sure everyone got a good look. I hope this post hasn't come off looking like a sales pitch since I only wanted to share the info with forum members. Honestly, my jaw dropped to the floor when the FedEx guy delivered these because I most certainly did not expect to get them this soon, if at all. The pics do a fairly good job at showing how cool this toy is but once you see it first hand I think you will really be blown away.

Thanks for the offer but I have all of the body parts and organs that I need right now. smile.gif

ooooooooo
i definitely want a couple of those.
i dont think it matters as far as the sales pitch- the fiends will be finding you anyway, the rest of us will be combing the stores , i dunno when do we start looking guys?
i havent bothered to check TRU in AWHIle....

As of yesterday 4 of the D/FW Metroplex TRU did not have them. Did see one store with 6 Tiger Force Packs. And one had the Zarana/Gung-Ho Spy Troops 2 pack so I picked it up. ($7.99) But it was the first one I had seen around here anyways. Lol I was playing with them at work when I got there. (Keep in mind I work with a lot of 16-19 year old's. Here I am 26 playing with Joes in my Office. Oh well what the heck.

Are there any good pictures of these loose?

It doesn't look bad but like the other recent jet releases the wings are just too little.

Now THAT is how a figure should be done! He doesn't look like a circus gorilla (ie Clutch), and doesn't look like he belongs in the "Baby Got Back" video. If more figs were done this good, I wouldn't have a single complaint! And the jet itself rocks too! Not only will I own one, but it'll sit on the deck of the Flagg. smile.gif

On a side note, does anyone know what the MSRP is going to be on this?

The only way you're going to find it for $25.00 is at a major clearance sale. A $29.99 SRP for the major discount retailers like Target and Wal-Mart sounds about right but I wouldn't be surprised to see the jet priced slightly higher.

Sorry, but I don't have any pics of the jet loose. The two I'm keeping for myself will be kept in their package until I have a good place to display them.

I know this is a tall order, and I'll understand if you tell me to go screw myself. . .

But could you please provide the dimensions of the T-wing from nose to tail & such? I need to know if it's too big for my display. I got just tiny little bit of room left on my Flagg, but not much. I'd appreciate it if you did what you could. Thanks.

Not a problem. Since I haven't actually removed the jet from the box these measurements are only approximate but very close. From front to back it measures 21", and the wingspan is around 15".

Here is another pic with a Viper figure standing next to the jet so you can get an idea of scale.

I have not been this enthusiastic about a new sculpt vehicle in a while! I must have it! I bet the price will come down near or after christmas.
