First I would like to say that I am new to collecting GI Joe figures. I had them when I was younger, and I melted or blew all of them up. I collect Star Wars and I wanted to expand into new territory. I am focusing on Cobra Commander at the moment.

Anyway, I wanted to know if the cape for this particular Cobra Commander is the same color as the one from the 2002 v4 Dr. Mindbender. I have never seen either figure in person, so I have no reference to go by except for the YoJoe archives. I have found with Star Wars toys that pictures are not a good way to judge colors from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Short answer- No, it's not the same.

Long answer- Dr. Mindbender cape is more maroon, while the CC cape is a lighter red.
