No really, I swear I'm in the right category for this topic.

The question is:

How many of you use the '82 Cobra Battle game as a diorama piece?

It looks totally compatible with the other 3&3/4 Joe vehicles and playsets!

Almost like they tried to mask a playset as a game because the rockets actually fired (which of course, was a no-no back then) :D

Alla sudden, I wanna add this to my diorama.

I use mine as a substitute for the missile command headquarters.

I always wanted the 1982 game. I wanted the 1986 game back then, but now thanks to online retailers like www.smalljoes.com (http://www.smalljoes.com), I have plenty of stands.

i'd have to dig it out.....it came with stands with lil tabs on them...for cutouts of the various joes or cobras...you put the carboard guys in or could replace it whith the real figure.....the game play is similar to stratego

He's talking about the original Commando Attack game.

Figures work nicely with the '82 game as a mobile base, a roof top, or artillary.

The detailed pics in Obiwan's first post are from my collection :D And it is currently for sale if anyone is interested- $20 along with other items HERE! (http://www.joecustoms.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=16296) Just don't shoot your eye out. ;)
