Hey Gang,

With everyone getting the new CCC, I noticed last night that it makes sound and lights up. Meaning, there has got to be a battary in there somewhere. In 5 - 10 years, that battary will carode (sp?) and start to mess things up.

Does anyone know if you can successfully take the copter out, remove the battary and put the coptor back in the box like new to prevent this from happening in the future?

I know there is a panel were you put the rotor part on there a screw you have too take out to loosen the panel. all I know once you takit out of the box you won't be able to put back because of the way its packaged.

Do you think, if I loosen the wires that hold it in place, I can move the coptor enough to get to the battaries?

there's gotta be a way to remove the Batts- all the other vehicles have a way to remove and replace-

On the underside behind the Pull Down handle with trigger that slips the wing's out and fire the missiles. Take those out. Mine has 2 Extra Heavy Duty GreenCell AA's in it. Took all of 10 second's to unscrew it.

Well yeah, it's easy to remove them if it's outta the box, but has anyone tried removing them while keeping it in the box?

If you keep it in the box, how will the batteries corroding make any difference?

Ah ok. No clue. Unless you have a very bendable screw-driver I don't think so.

Just look for a screw and a Box shape arround it and that should be where the batteries are....
