I was thinking, what with the prospect of the new live action movie, what would be the perfect cast. I have given it alot of thought (probably to much), and I can only come up with 3 actors so far.

Cobra Commander - Gary Oldman
Storm Shadow - Jet Li
Road Block - Micheal Clark Duncan

I'm really interested in hearing everyones thoughts on this.

Dream director? ME! I gotta trilogy in my head and a script and a half on paper. Just about everyshot in my head too. I think I'd be pretty self suffcient like a one man movie maker. All I need are a few million dollars and the rights to go to work on it.

I'd be able to help with the script, as well as even come up with a few brilliant fight scenes(I watched a lot of Chinese kung-fu movies).

Alright shockwave your in because,well Shockwave is one of favorite characters. And you might have some good ideas for the Firefly, Storm Shadow, Snake-Eyes fights.

Funny, we were just talking about me wanting to go to film school specifically to make a GI Joe movie trilogy the other night at work.

It gets brain scrambling just because there are so many characters we would like to see on the big screen. Nobody thought they would ever do lOTR so hey you never know!

It's hard to imagine anyone else as the Baroness besides Famke, perfect IMO.

What happened to the one thread that had a link to a site in which the creator had pics of the actors with pics of the characters they'd play? He had Ray Parks as Snake-Eyes, Jet Li as Stormy, Gary Oldman as CC.

I, for one, am tired of ppl casting Jet Li as Storm Shadow. Storm Shadow is Japanese, and Jet Li is Chinese. I would prefer a Japanese martial artist/actor to play Stormy. Someone like Kane Kosugi (http://www.megspace.com/entertainment/highimpact/stars/male/kane_kosugi.html), or Shane Kosugi (http://www.megspace.com/entertainment/highimpact/stars/male/shane_kosugi.html). Their father is Sho Kosugi (http://www.megspace.com/entertainment/highimpact/stars/male/sho_kosugi.html), who, IMO, is too old for the part.

and for lady jay........the actress will be nadia from american pie with voice overs by phyliss dyller

I think most of my picks have already been echoed here by others, except for Flint, who would HAVE to be played by Michael Madsen. Think about it.

Also, if it were my flick, Brad Pitt will only be allowed access to one role: Inept, Tiresome Security Guard Who Gets Iced in First Five Minutes of Film.
Loved him in Interview and Ocean's Eleven, but that's it.

BTW, whoever said Kurt Russell for Duke, I agree totally. He was my first pick. But we'd have to get Michael Biehn to play Hawk.

Neither one of these guys have ever acted as far as I know. Iggy is a particular strange idea since he's a washed up junkie. Did anyone see that video of Danzig getting knocked out by a fat guy? That was hilarious. Danzig deserved it.
