I liked it. THey've put a lot of work into it. I like the locations and all.

I watched it.

I know it's not a big budget film where there are high expectations, so I can't be too harsh...

The acting is subpar.

The music is subpar.

The plot is adequate.

The actor that plays Flint looks and feels very un-natural to play the part. His lines sound too rehearsed or like he's reading them, not the way one would tell a story... very mono-tone. He doesn't put much natural emotion to the lines.

Low-Light and Beach Head are okay, they don't have too many lines. Their action scenes need to be touched up a little, they didn't convince me.

Lady Jaye is too "girly" and doesn't come off as someone that would go into battle. She doesn't come off natural holding the rifle and even less when she gives the commands. She looks and feels like more of the type to work in an office setting.

Firefly's voice is nothing the way I would have imagined it, but that's okay. He doesn't look intimidating enough to be the mighty Firefly. His fighting moves are okay, they just need to work on the timing of the choreography in the fight scenes.

Cobra Commander is too "Pimpy" and awkward. The way they make him look is more or like a suped-up Jason (Friday the 13th) and not the fearsome military leader. His hood looks stiff and cheap, it looks more like a crinkled paper bag on his head than a hood.

The way the slow-motioned his appearance only added to the the characters imperfections. They tried to make Cobra Commander seem like a Bad [email protected]@, but it did not come close to intimidation. It looked more rediculous than fearsome.

Baroness, is not bad. I don't think she has any lines. I would have preferred if they used the bottle cap style glasses. At first, I couldn't tell if she was holding a gun or what she was doing. The lighting in that whole scene is bad, but it was meant to be a dark scene... they just didn't capture the moment well.

Overall, the music on the opening is comparable to "cheap porn" music. The scores during the fight scene is too hard core for GIJoe, it just doesn't add any flare to the fighting. The music took too much sound out of the fighting.

The interaction between Flint and Lady Jaye is non-flowing. The acting is choppy and feels rehearsed. Their interaction should be natural and not look over-worked.

I will watch the next Episode. I want to see the direction of the story line. It leaves you wondering a little. It's a lot better than I thought it would be, but it still needs work.

I enjoyed it myself. It kept me entertained. Could it have been better, yes. But for a low budget film it was good. I agree that the guy who played fit did seem as if he was reading lines. I can't wait til' the next one.
