Hey Guys,

I'm getting a booster box when the set is released and thought, heck, I'll have extras and I bet others will too. Hence, why not build a list of people who also have extras and maybe we can trade with each other and help maximize our collections by trading off our extras, while acrossing off those cards on our need list.

If you would like to be added to my GI Joe CCG Trade Contact list, when the sets come out and I get my cards, I'll e-mail you with my extras and my needs and hopefully we can trade a bit and help each other out.

Jeff, you'll be the first to my list. If the cards come before you leave Mad-Town, we so need to hook up and play a game or two. If you ship out before they arrive, we'll have to work out some travelling to play, but I think we would still be close enough to play and trade in person.

I read somewhere that it would take roughly 2 - 3 booster boxes to complete the set.

I'm hoping to do it with 1 - 2 boxes with some resourceful trading, but we'll see.

I'm very interested, but I am not a gamer. Will probably do more on the "collecting" side than playing the game. Since I'm new to card games, are there going to be some cards rarer? That would add alot to the appeal.

Yes, some cards will be rarer than the others...

"There will be 6 commons, 3 uncommons and 1 rare in every booster pack. About 1 in 3 boosters will loose a common and get a holo in it's place. We tried to make the cards easier to collect and you should be able to get a complete set in 48 boosters."

Street date as of last announcement was Aug 13. I've also heard the 2oth thrown about. So either WW Chicago or Gencon.

I would like to be on the list! I can't wait to play this game.. I was a big fan of Magic (early on), Marvel Overpower and the Harry Potter TCG. This looks awesome! The online demo was cool too...

Talking to the WOTC guys at the convention they said they hope to have a league with prize support up by the second expansion. I was hinting they should do a repaint figure for tournament prize the guy smiled and said they do not have everything worked out yet, it is all in the planing stages.

Also, does anyone know exactly what booster boxes will consist of? I've seen them online as either 24 or 36 packs. Don't know if someones got a typo or if WoTC is releasing 2 types of boxes.
