I begged my mom to do that to my little brother when he stole some money from her, but she's too nice.

You can't start young enough to start drinking :D

Well, if the kid lived in Belgium he only had to wait 3 more years, in the States till 21 right?

In my Honest opnion i dont think u should have sold his Ps2. I think it's Safe to say we all made mistakes and lied to our parents at that age i think he should have been dealt with in other ways, If u look on the bright side at least he's ok and not dead or hurt then would u really care about a bottle of champange?

If that is a true story, I am glad to see a parent hold thier kid accountable. Way to go  If the kid doesn't learn from this he is an idiot.

as a kid lying was the worse thing i could do to my parents punishment would have been much worse than his was. he is lucky she didnt sell all his games with it as well.

it sounds like the dom did him in, he didn't know how expensive it was, too funny!

I'm guessing this is just a clever selling ploy.

Some kids are just stupid. Or some paretns are just stupid. I knew never to drink a bottle of wine because I knew it was expensive. The key was to take stuff that parents wouldnt miss or realize that its gone. Man high school was some good times.

well ... if its true ... the 13 yr old deserved it ... man ... my bro and i would never have done something irresponsible like that

hmmm- yeah i agree it is possible this is a story to sell- i would think a kid old enough to want to drink is also old enough to know just how bad an idea it would be to drink $120 dom. i know we all just took tiny bits from each bottle. (Ack! i barely drank that stuff, but all the young girls in my neighborhood did).
If it is true, this is hardly punishment enough. they will only just barely get their money back. Yeah kids make mistakes. and they either get Checked hard, or they just get wilder and wilder. Kid needs to start cutting lawns and buy his own beer and toys if he's gonna break everyone else's.

Sounds like we had some of the same ideas growing up. As long as you weren't stupid about it, it wasn't hard to get a little booze and not get caught.
