I'm making a website right now to house dioramas, collection pics and that sort of thing, and I was wondering what resolution most of you run your desktop at, and if there is a size picture most of you prefer viewing, like 1024x768, or 800x600.

800x600. The standard setting. That's what I use to design my websites. I figure most people don't bother or else don't know how to change it anyway

I'm a computer game enthusiast more than anything, and most of them run at 1024x768...I found though, asking around, a lot of Joe fans seem to run at around 800x600...I wanted to see if that was still true. I would prefer working in 1024x768 and up, but I'll wait and see what the word is

A site can be designed for 1024x768, but I'd prefer images to be no larger than 800x600. Not everyone can afford high speed yet...
