For me, at least, lately I've been making quite a few hauls at decent prices. I've scored most of the AC repaint stuff I've wanted, with a few exceptions (if anyone's got a decent Jammer and/or a Dolphin they're willing to get rid of, LMK, O.K.? ;) ), as well as a few non-Joe things.

Has anyone else noticed their luck changing for the better lately?

Damn straight. (http://www.yojoe.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=8&t=004696) :D

Pretty dry for a bit there...then I managed to find tons of single pack bats and General Storm hooked me up with a Defiant Crawler...and now I finally have a Night Boomer!

I scored some nice stuff last week...

Kane County was great, before that I scored 600+ parts for $50 shipped and after that $155 for Flagg.

Since last Sunday it's been dead for me though.

Nice tag on that auction Darko.

Good luck with that....I worked at Value Village and only saw ONE joe item come through (a HISS tank...I was going to pick it up, but we could only buy things on our breaks and someone bought it before I could).

I haven't had too much luck finding anything for the last few months.

I found some good deals at Goodwill. But they make my laugh, you'll find a new Star Wars figure behind glass for $6 but turn around and find old hot wheels worth $10+ each in the .49 bin.

Well, I hope to have my luck continue.
I am getting the Con figures for much less than the normal price.

Thanks for all the responses, guys. I was about to start a new thread, but seeing as how this is related (and to quote a certain Dark Lord):

The circle is now complete:

I finally found a complete Humanoid in good shape to finish my Black Hole collection. Much better than my ghetto one with the Luke Jedi cape

I even came up with a good way to keep him standing with his booties on. Simply secure his legs together with a semi-taut rubberband, and insert a Micro Machine stand inbetween his feet and voila!

P.S.: No pun intended on the circular display piece ;)

Yay Me!

Just wondering where you picked up the Humanoid and how much you paid for him. Was it the one on Ebay that recently went for US$1200? Would you consider selling one of the arms off your original one as mine has a broken thumb!

Not planning on doing anything with him just yet. I'll actually still be displaying him with the group vice the complete, which I want to keep tucked away safw. I just wanted a pic of my complete set.

Andyeah, unfortunately this was the $1200 one (Hey, at least it wasn't the $1600 one from the week before... )

It's official. I will get all of them (the Dreadnok Rampage set, Thrasher, Zanzibar and the Zartan/Hawk morph pack) for almost $64 less than cost
:D

I would love to score a complete one, but i would have to figure out how to do it without my wife noticing that I am spending that much dough on one figure. She wouldn't understand that the Humanoid is one of the hardest loose 3 3/4 action figures to find.

I actually picked mine up last year at a small comic/collectable shop. I brough on a bunch of VHS movies hoping to get some credit on a Transformers trade. They were gone, so I looked through the guys small box of Joe figures. Low and behold he had a Humanoid figure in their. He didn't realize what it was and said "here's soome plain figure made by Disney". I traded about 10 videos for him and some Micronauts figures. He has no cape, boots and a broken thumb but where else will you find one.

I've heard alot of others good luck but my just hasn't shown yet. I'll be patient......

I seem to have actually had bad luck lately. Lost items in post, stuff not being in as nice of condition as expected, trouble with work, job, etc. You know, the good stuff.
