Talked to Ron Frenz today at the first-ever West Virginia Popular Culture Convention (WV Culture POPCON) in Morgantown, WV. GREAT GUY. He mentioned, pending various clearances, an upcoming 4-issue arc featuring General Joe Colton in the pages of the Hamaverse GI Joe A Real American Hero. He seemed very exicted about their take on Joe, who is "in his 70s and still kicking ***!" He said it may have to wait until after the movie in anticipation of the higher popularity of the character after Bruce Willis gets a hold of it. So there you go! Also spoke with Josh Medors about his days with Devil's Due. Said he was most proud of "redesigning Snake Eyes" into his commando mode and regretted never getting to "draw Cobras in their original outfits," meaning, I think, your standard Cobra troops. This little con was so much fun!
