I am in the process of making plans to form a club for people who own the USS Flagg. I know there was an owners club once before, bit I think it went under. What I am proposing is just a VERY simple group, but I think it'd be fun nonetheless. It's not going to be anything super-serious, just in good fun.

If you own a Flagg and would like to get in on this, please drop me an email: reignman_25@yahoo.com.

Thanks!

Does it have to be 100% complete? smile.gif

I have one, but I still need some stuff to polish it off.

Will we get together and play with our Aircraft Carriers?

They don't need to be 100% complete. You just need to own one.

And on a side note, I created a yahoo group for the club. I'll email each of you seperately soon about the details.

Really, the only condition I have is that you have to provide pics proving that you own a Flagg. And yes, I WILL be watching for cheaters ;)

What if I scan the pic from the 80's with my Jap Bobtail Cat on it? Do I get in that way (G)??? Speaking of that pic I need to find it. I miss both of them. :(

I remember seeing a Flagg at Target in 1987. I remember asking my dad if I could get it for Christmas.

He looked at the price tag.... $89.99 on sale.

He said... "HELL NO!" :(

Darn.

ditto on the boxed up in storage. 2-4 months and my house will be done and I got a whole room to display my collection. I have never put it together since I bought it so I might need some help when the time comes.

I've got like 2 pieces I could easily get out (the big deck piece and the hull skirting, but the rest is boxed along with about 10 LBC crewmen (cutter with headswaps).

I have 2 complete with boxes, then one totally unused in box, then like 4-5 more in various states of completeness. I can take pics of piles and piles of parts if that will work for me. Or the boxed one sitting in front of me.

And what do we do when we are in this club? swap parts? or put together a huge ass fleet of Aricraft carriers?

I remember seeing one at Sear's in 1987 on the top shelf, outta the hands of small little snots like me....

Then I saw one at a garage sale for $150 (I should have bought it)....

Then I missed one on ebay that went unsold for $150 plus $50 for shipping and handling.

Then I missed one this spring for $100 plus $40 shipping and handling...

Sigh... I feel left out...

Some of us should make the "I wish I had the USS Flagg" club.

We'll show you big whig USS Flag owners...(someday) :(

Ok, inspired by Deogg's club, I've decided to start my own. If you are interested in joining the Owners of the Coastal Defender Club, please drop me a line at myparentssmokedcrackandcouldntaffordtobuymeaflagg@ yahoo.com

I just need to see proof that you actually own a coastal defender and you're in! (All memberships subject to exhaustive verification tests, background checks and full body cavity searches. May take up to 17 weeks for membership to activate)
