Question How much of Joes equipment can fit in the real world?

Taking a look at the new Joe jungle strike that is due out soon I realized that it is nearly a carbon copy of the new up-armored Humvees that are being shipped to Iraq. I have not seen much joe hardware that fits this category although I can think of a few:
Sonic fighters Desert Apache - real apache
    sky striker - a F-14
Warthog (without Missile stalk) - a marine apc
awestriker - resembles a special forces atv

    for cobra the Moray Hydrofoil
and the rattler (a-10 thunderbolt are the most realistic)

do you guys think any others are realistic?

Leaving out the obvious ones, these are what I can think of off hand.

    VAMP/Stinger -Lamborghini Cheetah http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/5849/lm.html

    Conquest - X-29
    Bridgelayer
Equalizer - I forget the designation, but there's a similar AA Russian vehicle
Phantom - what everyone thought the F-117 looked like in the 80's
WHALE - Navy used a single-prop version in Vietnam
    Lynx - self-propelled Howitzer
MMS - Hawk Missile System (in real life these missiles cost $250k a piece and the unit runs about $15,000,000)
    Rolling Thunder
    HAL

The concept of the Rolling Thunder is, but I have never seen a portable missile truck look quite like that. Most are more like the knock off toy missile carriers (armored semi type deal).
I think that the APC is modeled after a Russian vehicle (go figure).

Danyanda's right. The Rolling Thunder doesn't exist per se, but there's a similar vehicle on display outside the Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. It doesn't have the defense weapons like the RT, but it is a similar shape. That thing's so low it looks like it's sitting on airbags.

Well the military was working on the JUMP pack at one time.
The Pack Rat's I saw on Tactical to Pratical the other day.
I've seen a Whale also. Used to ferry Jeep's/Tanks.
    Of course the Flagg (G)
    TomaHawk is a Chenuk(Sp?)
Hydro-Sled is sorta like some stuff I've seen SEAL's on. Not 100% but very close.
The Conquest X-30 is real but I cann't remember what it was. BUt I did see one when my Dad was Stationed in Kingsville. Here's a link. -

Actually the X-30 is more based on the Russian S-37 Berkut. It is almost identical accept for the exauhst.

    As seen here:

    http://www.geocities.com/flex_cs/S37pics

And it is not too tuff to customize an X-30 to look like one as seen here:

    http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/cu...cle&thumbs=off

    Other vehicles:
wolverine- is based off of a tracked missile launcher
    Mauler- Abrams A1
    Night Raven- SR-71
Defiant/Crusaider- Concept/Trial stage Next Gen Space Shuttle Concept
X-19 Phantom- Concept Next Gen Stealth Fighter
F.L.A.K.- Based off of WWII Anti-Aircraft Guns
Water Moccasin- High Speed air boat
    Sluggler- M-119 tracked artillery
IMP- Tracked short range missile launcher

And Believe it or not, the Skystorm X-Wing Chopper is based off of a concept attack chopper. I remember getting a Popular Mechanics poster with pictures of future aircraft and it listed the X-Wing and Hasbro nailed it to a T. It also showed the Phantom and Ospry plus some others.

Scrapiron. On that cover did it have like an Aircraft Carrier that looked like a HydroFoil? If so I think I still got that issue. Had a lot of cool stuff on it. If I find it I'll post a pic.
