Should we add new sub-teams to the archives?

\r\n \r\n I would use some sort of criteria for each sub-team, for instance:
\nHas at least 5 figures
\nWas featured in the comics/cartoon

\nOr something like that.

\nFor teams not listed, I would like to see:
\nAdventure Team
\nAction Force and/or International that were released in the US (i.e. the international club exclusives, ninja-ku, Glenda, etc.)
\nEnvironment Themed
\nMilitary Branch themed

\nSo really, at this point, maybe think of them less as \'Subteams\' but rather groupings of similarly themed figures.\r\n \r\n

I agree with you Kann, Why the heck is that cobra sky patrol made up of to international no names but then we have out the red shadow??? there is so much info and material out there in the USA that isn\'t even counting international but then the sky patrol COBRA is made up of ONLY international material (two figures). There is so much we can include to the red shadows on the sub teams.

Both for your first question that\'s what they did with Ninja force zartan. I can see where you are coming from all the different forces in the action force but maybe add a action force sub team that includes all the little spin offs that they had Q force Z force etc.\r\n \r\n

Euro TigerForce figures also came on GI Joe cards. So they count as part of the GI Joe Tiger Force subteam.\r\n \r\n

Well by all your guys debate so far, it sounds like action force would be a hard group to classify under with all the spin offs etc. I still would love to see the Red Shadows get a category right under the subgroup Iron grenadiers. They got a fair share of US spot light and products. There wouldn\'t be any controversy as action force would have. I guess that a decision for big guys who run this bored. \r\n \r\n

But I might be able to compromise to a Sub-Team option.

I have no idea if this is possible with whatever software you use, but you almost need more classification fields for all the figures. Almost like tags. So people could do a query like "Female International figure after year 1985" or something like that.

\nThat way you don\'t have to pigeon-hole yourself into specific groups, so the Jungle BAT would be found under "Cobra", "Jungle" and "BAT" queries, Glenda would be found under "Pilot", "International", "Female", and "Action Force", and finally Arctic Destro would be found under "Arctic", "IG", and "Sucky figure" (well, maybe not the last one).\r\n \r\n

\nSeems like maybe we need to start looking at this like biology classifications, you know=Life-Domain-Kingdom-Phylum-Class-Order-Family-Genus-Species. Ok, perhaps not that many levels, but something along those lines. So there would be a place for sub-teams and divisions and even the other categories. Say, start at Kingdom=Good Guy/Bad Guy, Class=International/Cobra/IG, Family=Sub Team(Own symbol and commanding officer), Genus=Division, Species=Trooper.\r\n \r\n

II, Operation Crimson Sabotage, etc.), the Sonic Fighters, Cobra-La, the Red Shadows (under the "other" category), the Coil (Overlord, Coil troopers, Zilant, Glider, & Ferret), & the Adventure Team. All of these teams have vehicles (with the exception of Cobra-La)\r\n \r\n

The main reason I didn\'t include them was they lack the Wolf Squad logo. So we might could do one of those "(Not officially Night Force, but with a color scheme that complements earlier releases.)" kinda things. Same could be said about Flint.

\nWhere did you hear about the factory error? I don\'t recall them saying anything at the panel that year. Plus blue was what they showed us in the display case at Con so it seems they had plenty of time to fix any errors. I just want to have sources before we go saying these sort of things. \r\n \r\n

Should we add new sub-teams to our YoJoe archives? There are many that could be considered a sub team not listed. That I would consider more of a sub team then the Desert Patrol Squad and the Anti Venom Task Force. Specially the COBRA Sky Patrol which only consist of two international figures. The Task Force and the desert squad consisted of a TRU exclusive 6 pack. The Anti venom task force doesn't have any media/vehicles surrounding it either unlike the Red Shadows and the Coils. I believe if those three are on the sub team archive that sub teams like the Red Shadows Action Force and the Coil's. They all have a lot more history behind them and media back up. The Red shadows have a convention box set with a few 4 figures 2 vehicles been in a few comics including the newest comic from idw from the continuation of the old series. Red shadows are thick in history with all the international figures made where the COBRA Sky Patrol is made up of two international figures that I never heard of before. same goes with action force. action force gets new figures it seems like almost every convention now and also rich in international history and comics. Coil has a few figures and vehicles now. and were in the comics all the time at one point. I am not saying to get rid of those three sub teams that are on the archives now, I am saying we should add the few more to make our sub team archives the best of the best!

What is your guys opinion on this one!
