Thumbs up Slaughter's Marauders Low-Light & Footloose weapon variations

    Yeah Guys,

I thought I'd share a variation that I learned of a while back, for those of you that are interested. Well, first I'd like to note that the Slaughter's Marauders figures were made in Brazil. It took me a while to understand the accessory color variations from other countries, but what I've learned about Brazil is that most, if not all of their black weapons are more of a duller satin black, as opposed to a glossy black. That's the case being with the weapons that I'm showing in this posting. My camera is not the greatest, so hopefully you can see it, but that's not the only difference.

In the pictures below the top weapons are the regular US Version 1 Low-Light & Footloose and the bottom are the Slaughter's Marauders weapons.

1.) Low-Light//// You will notice that the handle is thicker on the Slaughter's Marauders Sniper Rifle.
2.) Low-Light//// You will notice that the leg tips on the bi-pod are thicker and more rounded.
3.) Low-Light//// It's kind of hard to see, but the Slaughter's Marauders uzi has a thicker ball type tip on it, as opposed to the more detailed telescoping tip on the V1 Low-Light.

1.) Footloose//// You will notice that the handle is more rounded on the Slaughter's Marauders rifle.
2.) Footloose//// As far as I can see, the bazooka is just a duller satin black that matches the rifle, I don't see any molding differences.

    Thanks,
    Everett

Great thread!! Are there any difference from the European Slaughter's Marauders Low-Light's accessories to the above v1 and US marauders?

And how about the other figures' accessories (Barbecue, Mutt, Sgt. Slaughter and Spirit), compared to their earlier versions?

    Yeah,

SM Sgt. Slaughter= lighter brown baton

SM Mutt = all black dog, still hard plastic like the original V1 Mutt. The 90's dogs were softer, more flexible.

SM Barbecue= lighter gray weapons, without the silver edge on the axe.

    SM Spirit= black weapons

I'm not quite sure about the European SM Low-Light, but the archives says that it was made in China, so if I had to guess, I would say that it came with the regular US V1 Low-Light weapons.

    Thanks,
    Everett

    Yeah Tiffany,

Thanks. How did you like JoeCon, that was my first one? I'm going to try to make the Coil Con this year as well. I guess I need to start getting out more and mingle with other collectors.

    Thanks,
