They're releasing a line of 5 POA Star Wars, so apparently marketing has determined that they can make money off 5 POA figures.

What gets me about that is I was following some SW News feeds on Twitter during Toy Fair when those were announced and some people were actually excited to see them! Now I still love my vintage SW stuff, but it's not 1977 any more. We've evolved...haven't we?

A large part of the adult collector market is nostaliga. There's segments that want nothing but remakes. Some joefans only want ARAH-remakes and that's it.

The 5 POA is a bit different, but I guess I can see how a SW fan could want newer characters that will match their existing Kenner figures.
