Mega Marines Clutch variant?

Hi, i just got a MOC MM Clutch, and when i saw it alongside with my loose CLutch i found a difference, one has the shoulder piece molded yellow and painted orange, and the other one is molded orange and painted yellow

Could this be considered a variant?

I took a pic, but it doesn't show nicely... I'll try to take another clear shot...

Definitely. That's interesting. It looks in the pic, but I can't tell for sure, that you can sort of see which is which along the bottom of the side of the arm. Is that the case? I'll be checking my brothers vs mine here in a few minutes. Good eye.
