Since the holidays severely threw off my comic book purchasing schedule both issue 11 and 12 were in my box this week.
Issue 11 Van Lente's final issue was superb.
Heavy Duty and Roadblock.
Sigma Six is a video game. The two play each other on a regular basis.
Heavy Duty is a joe first in this incarnation, and has to fake his death.
Roadblock, through the game figures it all out and goes hunting for his cousin.
We see a Dragonfly, and the PIT in the desert. We see Snake Eyes knocked out cold and Scarlett is impressed.
We see a very miffed Hawk.
I really liked this issue, it was a nice way to wrap things up.

Issue 12 introduces a new character called Siren. She appears to be a chief negotiator, and is also a foil for the Baroness.
They may not see eye to eye on how to do things, and that friction will be interesting to watch over the course of this new arc by Paul Allor.
Expect a history lesson for the next few issues.
Keep in mind that in the IDWverse Cobra Commander is a job not a person. We will be seeing several versions of the Commander as Siren uses storytelling to convince others to capitulate to Cobra.
The Baroness throws a wrench in Siren's plans.
We get to see three versions of the Commander and judging by the cover, we will see several more versions. Cobra has been around for centuries, and Krake wants the world to know it.
That is Siren's job.
