Question What toy feature have you recently figured out?

What toy feature have you recently figured out?

Example: I know some people recently figured out that the Ice Viper sais fit into his leg.

I, just this week, was told that you can remove the bow section from the crossbow on the Alley Viper backpack. What can I say? I never even thought of trying it.

Is there some feature for a figure or vehicle that you just figured out in the last couple of years after owning the piece for a long time?

    Wink

I only just found out about the alley viper thing as well. Its sad when it takes years to work out what a figure and his weapons do.Took me years to work out that buzzers oil can came off. Still, live and learn my friend.

    Question

Here are a few more that bother me

    1. What is that sheath thing on V1 Low Light's thigh for?

    2. Why do the antennae things on Psyche-Out's backpack come off?

About Psyche-Out's backpack antennae things I have to say that they are the most DANGEROUS joe accessories as they could be choked so easily by kids! Didn't you have any protection rules in America by 1987?

BTW I still cannot understand how V1 Alpine's accessories fit in his backpack....

As a kid I wasn't aware of the fact that Zandar and Zarana change colors when exposed to sunlight as I didn't speak english and couldn't read the instructions!

The sheath on V1 Low Light's thigh is for his Uzi. On the top of the Uzi you will notice two sets of notches. This is only for the Uzi mold that comes with him [the one that comes with Law v1 works as well]. If you turn the uzi on its top against his thigh they fit right into the little slits on his thigh. I only knew that after a friend showed it to me several years later after I owned it.

Just last year I figured out the entire Frag Viper thing...

1.) The black curvy thing is his grenade thrower... for years I had been chucking this weapon thinking had had broken off a later vehcile...

2.) The black ribbed hose goes to Frag Viper, again, I had been chucking this thinking it wasn't anything joe related...

3.) I found out the grenades can come off the backpack AND...can be easily lost...

Anyhow, I might sound dumb for fessing up to it, but I'm sure we've all had our days when we chucked something thinking it was non joe related or junk.
My lessons learned... I NO LONGER THROW ANYTHING OUT UNTIL I KNOW WHAT IT IS...even if it really ends up to be junk.

    Lessee...

A lot of these are parts related - mostly realized after I gave them away...

    1. Outback's flashlight snaps into his leg. Oh *that's* what that little hunk o' junk I keep throwing away is for!

    2. That green useless curvy piece is a front tow bar for the Vamp.

    3. Sometimes people put Storm Shadow v.1's nunchucks inside his backpack. The backpack also folds out into a third seat...(<- That's a joke, and not a very good one. Third seat for what?)

    4. The Manta DOES have a missile.

    5. That stupid peg on the back of Roadblock's pack (original, TF, or accessory pack) is for his tripod. Man, am I an idiot. I didn't know this until it came to me this way last month. I've been collecting for HOW long?

    6. Flagg Y-pins double as slingshot army-builder weapons!

    7. Oh - and a vehicle feature-related one - the Phantom X-19 wings attach to the struts underneath (if the struts aren't broken), and when you pull the wings out, the cannons pop up. Took me forever to get that one...

Some on topic, a couple slightly off, but they seemed related.

I used to try that every which way with no luck. I will give it a try again.

[taking down notes like a pupil]

Always wondered about Low-Light's uzi holster on his leg....and I didn't know that those antennas come off of Psyche-Out's backpack.

And I hate to say it, but I didn't know that the bow comes off of the Alley Viper's backpack either. [Don't act like I'm the only one that didn't know that either people....FESS UP!!]
