1985 Alpine variant

I was going through some of my gi joe figures to sell at an upcoming toy show and came across this alpine, caught my eye cause the rope looked paler that usual. I compared it to a regular alpine and the variant has different paint color and more grey highlights.





both say "made in hong kong"

If not custom paint, or wear, it might be from Brazil or Argentina. Check the stamp on the ass and see what it says.
