The GI Joe team of Scarlett, Roadblock, Rock 'n' Roll, Quick Kick, Shipwreck and Wild Bill go to rescue an asset at the Earth Defense Command's base in the Pacific. They fight their way through lots of Dire Wraiths. Rock 'n' Roll meets up with Grand Slam and they discover the base is protecting Transformer Skywarp.

ROM, Optimus Prime and the Transformers, Snake Eyes, Miles Mayhem and the MASK team, the Micronaut crew of Heliopolis and the Dire Wraith Axiom with his minions all converge on Autobot City to fight for the ORE-13. Baron Karza comes through the space bridge to change everything.

The IDW Hasbro Universe Comic Crossover event has released One Shots for MASK, ROM, Micronauts, Action Man, Transformers, More Than Meets the Eye and Till All Are One as well as GI Joe.

Revolution Transformers Till All Are One -- One Shot
No GI Joe references. Windblade is able to connect to Micronus Prime in Microspace. She is then captured by Shazraella, Baron Karza's wife, and questioned and tortured for information. She is freed by a traitor on the Microspace side and returns to Earth, where she explains to Optimus Prime that Microspace is the reason ORE-13 is becoming unstable on Earth and causing all of the problems with humans. ROM is listening.

The captured ROM and Camilla Byers with Darby Mason escape from an Earth Defense Command base. They accomplished their mission of discovering how ROM's neutralizer has been failing in finding the Dire Wraiths. Dave Dubosky (aka GI Joe's Countdown) appears.

Micronauts #7
No GI Joe references but the Micronauts are on Earth. Oz's team has been captured and are held in a box. Unable to understand human language and vice versus the humans are going to experiment on them. A sympathetic lab assistant lets them escape. They get in a running battle with the much larger humans with guns and dogs.

Revolution takes place in the "IDW Continuity", which is the continuity that was started by IDW in 2009 (not the ARAH comics Larry Hama currently writes). Also for all of the Transformers series, the "IDW Transformers Generation 1" continuity, which began in 2005, is now directly connected to GI Joe through the Revolution crossover. GI Joe characters will be appearing directly in many of these crossover titles.
