    The mystery of who is Marissa Faireborn's mother continues

    Revolutionaries #2 and Optimus Prime #4 continue the action of the GI Joe/Earth Defense Command team fighting with and against the Transformers as they deal the with all the news alien presences that have arrived on Earth. Transformers, ROM, Micronauts and Dire Wraiths all are causing humans a lot of trouble.

    Revolutionaries #2
    Mayday (Ayana Jones) is the leader of team of GI Joes fighting with Transformers Kup & Garrison Blackrock, Action Man and the Micronauts team on the Cobra Moon base long though abandoned by Cobra. New bad guys show up that haven't appeared in the IDW continuity before.

    The GI Joes along with Optimus Prime are dealing with the recently landed on Earth Junkicons. Flint, one of the GI Joe/Earth Defense Command leaders, has tried to recruit his daughter, Marissa Faireborn to join GI Joe. They meet up again and this time to talk about her mother. But no name is said.

    ROM Annual
    No direct GI Joe connection. This Annual tells the history of ROM on his home planet, 200 years before the events of Revolution and his desire to destroy the Dire Wraiths, which have currently infiltrated Earth.

Also for all of the Transformers series, the "IDW Transformers Generation 1" continuity, which began in 2005, is now directly connected to GI Joe through the Revolution crossover. GI Joe characters will be appearing directly in many of these crossover title
