    R.I.P. Sonny Landham/Movie Likeness Figures

If you're a child of the eighties that name probably sounds familiar. If you can't quite put your finger on it, Sonny played arguably the second most bad-ass character in the classic movie Predator...Billy the Tracker(the Predator is obviously the most bad-ass in that movie ). He just passed away on Thursday the 17th at the age of 76. I'll admit that I wasn't totally familiar with his entire catalog of work. But growing up, 2 of them were played over and over again in my house: Predator & 48 Hours. To this day I watch Predator at least once a month .

So now I'm sure at least Phil is thinking, "Nice story bro, but this isn't the right part of the forum" lol. Give it a second, I'm getting there. As my own little tribute I decided to break from my current work load of 2017 figures and do an update to the 2010 Spirit Iron-Knife whose design was a tribute to Sonny's portrayal of Billy in Predator.

Just click the picture to check it out. Now I'm sure Phil is thinking "Cool. Still not the right part of the forum." So here's where it comes around. We've had threads talking about what figures we have that kinda look like they've been inspired by or resemble characters from TV and Film. Now I wanna ask you guys on the flip side:

What movie characters do you think would make great inspiration for a Joe figure? It's getting late and I can't think of any right at this moment. But like "So-and-so from Blank would be a sweet Flint" or something.

OH! I got one. What if they did a Low-Light figure that looked like Jean Reno as Leon from The Professional? He's already got the hat and glasses In fact, he's kinda like a mix between v1 & v3 but with a trench coat! Lol

The 1987 Raptor figure seems to have been made to substitute a Buck rogers character from the 70's.

A Crimson Twins homage to Patrick Bateman AKA "American Psycho".

Include a briefcase with some business cards, a brick phone and a Huey Lewis C.D. and we're golden. Oh yeah, we need a nail gun too.

LOL, he kinda does. I still have a Tiger Man from back in the day. I want to make a modern one now to team them up.

Holy Crap! If they put the twins in a live action movie we need him to play them. It would be great!
