Hey, so i have settled on an are for a large dio build to feature my Joes. I have ideas and I am struggled getting the image i have onto paper in a way that it makes sense. So I need some help.

My issue is the dio landscape to showcase what I have. I am thinking of a MASS device themed layout. I will have a water area, volcano area, and a snow area. The issue is fitting the playsets I want to be featured within that theme. Space isnt really an issue...yet.

I have a Flagg, 2 hydrofoils, whale and TBP for the water area. Thats easy.

But I want to showcase a HQ and TD where to I put them in one continuous layout.

The layout format its both area 1 3feet x7feet area 2 is 4 feet x8 feet area 3 3 feet x7 feet ( the Flagg fits in all of the areas. )

Yes I realize its a massive area. the surface is just customs made tables.


What I have imagined is Area 1 Snow with a volcano and tunnel at the base that will allow a Red Element dio and a Yellow Element (meteorite dio). That will include all of my snow featured vehicles ie snow wolf, snow mobile, hiss tanks

Use area 3 for the heavy water element. PLace Flagg/hydrofoils/whale/TBP etc

I was going to use area 2 for HQ with front directed at the snow with a jungle in the back leading to the TD and the TD backing up to the water on a cliff (Cobra Island style)

That is the current plan. So I am wondering:

How can I weave into this design
1) a Dr Mindbender lab dio - my thought perhaps by having the TD on a hill with a cutout section under the TD featuring the lab and the Serpentor creation. WILL THIS LOOK GOOD OR AWKWARD?
2) Dreadnoks swamp dio---or Palace of Doom dio jungle theme between the HQ and TD?


I am trying to maintain all of the dios on the same surface without building them under the tables. ( i just have an issue with building a swamp dio under the table with snow or water theme above it.


any thoughts?


FYI this is what my image what it will result in depends on how I much time it will take to learn how to build the dio landscape. THIS IS MY First attempt at a dio.

Sounds cool. Do the Mindbender lab. He always had a lab in the comics and cartoon. Keep showing pics of your progress.
