Night Creeper V3 - Coloring Issues

I picked up a lot of figures recently and had some that had what appears to be extreme fading, has anyone experienced this before? I had a few other similar figures, but the Night Creeper pictured here is a good example.

That's not fading, that's the Shadow Ninja Night Creeper from 1994. Put him in cold water or the freezer and his colors will brighten. Likewise, drop him in hot water to turn him "invisible!"

Ah awesome, I thought that would be very unusual fading. I'm just getting into collecting and i'm not familar with much stuff after around 1991 or so, that was a huge help.Thanks!
