Mainframe Computer with Small Legs in 1984-85 Pre-Production image

My father just sent me an image from a 1984 or 1985 toy fair catalog showing the GI Joe 4th and 5th series assortment. Mainframe's computer is shown standing on the ground on what looks like small fold-out legs of the same color plastic as the computer. I'm not sure if this is new to people here, but I haven't noticed it in the variations sections before. I'm happy to share the picture if I can get permission to post it.

I believe you have to post 10 times before you can post images, to prevent spammers.

It's possible that Mainframe's computer was supposed to have legs upon release but as a cost cutting measure they were left off.

It would be interesting to know how far along they got. The legs are rather elaborate in design for what they are. The picture offers specific product assortment by numbers, but there are also noticeable if minor differences in paint scheme for just about all of the series 5 figures shown.

Mainframe looks kind of buff, and that BAT face is great.
