That's nothing. Check out this buy-it-now. I found it about an hour too late.

I was buying all these comics as they came out. For awhile there I thought I was the only one even buying these comics! Spawn was a big deal back when the Joe comic was winding down. People at the comic book store would always look at me and my buddy strange when we'd request to go in the back room of the store where all the 'non-cool' comics were stacked in boxes and sort through literally thousands in hopes of finding an old back issue. (he collected a comic called ROM). 3 hours later and .75 cents poorer I'd strut outta there happy as can be with a new back issue ready to take it's place in my box! I kinda miss those days now that I have a complete collection. Nothing like the feeling of finding that 'holy grail' issue that has eluded you for years and years. Wish I knew back then that 155 would be such a commodity. We always joked back then of probably being the only two who even bought these comics (joes weren't worth the paper they were printed on according to the comic store). Of course they were worth more than gold to me! He about had a heart attack when I told him what some of those issues were selling for now. Hmm...wonder what ROM is selling for?

    Wow...

$7... Someone just found a heck of a deal...

For $7 I would have bought an extra just to have a reading copy...

I dunno, but IMO anyone who fights Dire Wraiths on a regular basis has gotta be worth at least $5.00 an issue & up

Your friend got the big ROM figure they had in the '70s? That's a classic.

haha I asked him (was on the phone with him when I read your post). He said he didnt have the figure but you put the bug into him. He then went on a witchhunt on the net trying to find one!
