For the archives--this is a scan of a Hasbro G.I. Joe ad from 1981. This ad was in the November 1981 Playthings trade publication. This is a full-sheet ad (8 1/2" x 11"). I hope you like it--this is one of my favorite ads!

I've seen that before in a few books. It's one of my faves also! And what Tatt Shane sez is very important. Didn't they start ARAH at the end of the decade, and then hold off a couple years on releasing the 1st Joes?

I had one mounted and framed and it is hanging in my office with my "To the Rescue" and "Stars and Stripes" posters

That's where I got it! I also bought several others from the same seller and you're right--they sure aren't cheap!
