Do you guys worry about the black hoses?

I know that title sounds funny, but I'm just wondering about something. I recently got into collecting Joes, and a few of my figures have the black accessory hoses. Deep six for example: http://yojoe.com/action/89/deepsix2.shtml

I also have some figures that are supposed to have the hose but don't. I'm sort of a completist and the figures look cooler on display if they have them, but it seems I can't find any for sale anywhere.

What I'm wondering is, do you guys worry about getting the black hoses? Or has anyone found a replacement tube. It seems like there should be something that is a similar size that could be used. I'm sorry if this sounds dumb or is something that has been discussed before, but like I said, I'm a noob.

    Mike

There are sites I believe that offer them and you can even cut them on the length you want them...

Nevermind, I did a search on google and came up with a site called smalljoes.com. I got 4 ft' for $4.24 shipped. Not bad I guess.

    Here is a link:

I bought some hose from smalljoes. but it doesn't look like the original, so I don't use it for my collection. I only keep real hose for my collection.

Sooner or later you'll need 'em.

SmallJoes also has back & leg screws, rubberbands, & t-hooks. I'm sure other places have 'em too, but that's where I've gotten mine.

Here is a link to a current Ebay auction.

I haven't bought any before but it looks pretty similar. I've read somewhere else that you can find it at a hardware store or Home Depot also.

it doesnt. only the real perfectionist collectors (the same ones that still believe if you replace a torso screw or o-ring that it seriously diminishes the value of the joe) have to have the original hoses on loose figures. they wear out and you can replace them. theres no value diffrence that i know off.
