Yeah, I know, it's not until July, but from what I hear, hotels are already booked solid!
Now that I'm FINALLY on the west coast, I'm going. Any other YoJoers going to be there - or setting up there?

I'm looking forward to it, already have the vacation time requested and my room booked (at my bro's house )
Is this your first time going?
I went last year..boy it was huge..biggest one ever I been too.
I probably won't go this year but it might change when it's closer. Lot of local Joe collectors hit that place up but with 3 3/4 retirement..not sure if some of us are gonna hit that place up anymore.
It's defnitely worth it if your into all kinds of toys and comic characters. So much to see.
Yup. Largest show I've been to was the Chicago Con back when Image first got started. If I'm correct, this dwarfs the Chicago show.Originally Posted by darkstar
Not necessarily looking forward to the crowds, but I'm definitely gonna bring a lot of money. For what, I'm not sure yet, but I want to get my dibs in on at least one exclusive. I've had it with paying overblown prices because I couldn't make it to a con.
I've also heard that SDCC is about 3 - 4 times larger than Chicago Con, not from experience but through the grapevine, I've never been to the Chicago Con .Originally Posted by orionlukteel
Anyways, be sure to wake up early every day to find good parking, or else you'll find yourself parking 10 blocks away and in for a very long journey in typical SoCal summer weather.
