Arrow Would you be a fan of GiJoe if there were no 3 3/4" Figures?

if Gi Joe people never made the 3 3/4 figures and vehicles etc. would you be the joe fan you are?
For me the answer is absolutely Not ...
I just love the figures and how they can move into all sorts of positions , thats the only reason i collected joe stuff when i was a kid ... all other figures were very limited in movement , plus the vehicles had lots of parts and cool things about them ... but with out those figs i would not be a big joe fan , if a joe fan at all.

It's all about the 3-3/4" figures and vehicles.

I could care less about the comics, cartoons, or other scales.

I have to say I would still have enjoyed GI Joe because it was the cartoon that first attracted me. I wouldnt be nearly as big of a fan but I would still be one.
Parts needed --- buy or trade!!

    Dreadnok stinger -- Drivers door

But there wouldn't have even been a cartoon if there were no 3 3/4" figures

Nope. Joes were the first Toys I really remember as a kid. Of course I was 4 when they came out so that made a huge impact on me. Right up untill I was 14 or 16 and was in High School.
Heck I did not really learn about 12 Inch till way later on.

Nope. It was the 3 3/4 scale that hooked me. Plus, the vehicles.

    No way.

On the plus side, if there were no 3.75 inch figures, I would probably have a larger gun and coin collection.

Actually, probably yes. My uncles always had fuzzy-head joes and their large jeep at grandma's house. Between those joes and the Hot Wheels track, I was entertained for hours! Don't remember if they had kung-fu grip, though.

That said, 3-3/4" figures were probably the best thing to hit the toy world since, umm.... kung-fu grip! And I'm glad we're not in a world without 3-3/4" toys!

No, I collected he-man also and didn't really like the size of those figures. The 3 3/4 made for easier playing ablility and storage. The only downside was the weapons were too small and easy to lose.
