So, I drove my van into the hotel parking garage when I arrived, no problem...Looked tight, but seemed to fit JUST fine.

So, I unload into the con, and go to park again...And I have the stereo up really loud...And i was pretty spaced from hauling TONS of crap up a freight elevator and through the hotel kitchen...So, I didn't hear the "6'6" maximum" hanging barrier bounce it's way across the roof of my van.

I get onto the first floor of the garage, no spaces, tried to go to the second floor...As I am going under the second floor doorway...I see the roof of the van buckle slightly, then more, then more...OK, then I realize i am NOT gonna make it any further. i backed out and tried again in a different spot, just in case...Nothing. The empty van was a LOT higher than i thought, so i was kind of screwed.

Some genius was kind enough to drive by and say "you're not gonna fit, dude..".

So, what do i do? Army builder a dozen 200+ pound Joe collectors to pile in the back of the van, weighing it down enough to get the thing out. It was pretty fun, but poor Justin (from General's Joe and Joe Sightings) is uncomfortable around anyone heavier than him (which is everyone) so he kept having to hop out whenever we stopped.

That was indeed a fun part of the trip, and like most of the best stories, there is NO WAY that you could plan them in advance.

A lady named Lisa contacted me I told her I wanted 2 Hydrofoil's she said OK I gave her my credit card #. That was yesterday (7/6/05) or the day befor I forgot. She said they will be on the way..............

i got a call on the 5th. got 2 of them. i was on the 3rd or 4th page of the list.
