Funskool Accy's

I'm getting pretty desperate to finish up my '85 flint. Does the funskool flint's gun match an original? I haven't read any threads that have done any comparisons.

How about croc master?

If anybody knows, I'd love to find out so I could mark these two off my list.

Flint's gun is the same color and same mold, but the plastic isn't the same quality, it's a bit softer.

I'd image it would be the same for Croc-master.

I have purchased several Funskool figs in the past and have been satisfied with everyone of them. You can definately tell the difference, but to complete a collection, they work fine.

I used the funskool stuff to finish up my flint and croc master. They look fine.

They may look close, but the Funskool Flint and the American Flint's accessories are different. Aside from the plastic quality, there are subtle color differences. If you look at the bottom pic of my Muralha profile you can see a pic with an American, Brazilian and Funskool Flint and accessories. In it, you can see the color differences between the 3.

To most collectors, the differences are slight enough that they probably would not even notice. However, a trained eye will spot Funskool accessories even in the midst of American versions. For personal display, the Funskool stuff will work. However, for sale, the differences are significant enough to warrant noting.
